By the way, I'm Brazilian, having added the BR language greatly facilitated my life kk
I don't think it has to do with Distribution (Ubuntu) and GUI (mate). I can borrow here at home other computers that have Linux and test.
But I don't have Ubuntu, the closest is Debian.
Edit: I tested it on a pc with Debian and one with Arch, both had the same error. Maybe I'll create an Ubuntu mate live-cd to test. But I don't think the problem is the distributions.
I already tested it running via Wine, the same problem occurred, but when I changed Wine to another version (if I'm not mistaken, 6.10) the keys worked but not the sound.
I installed Debian 11 on my PC to investigate the cause of this, but the game worked, so I have not yet found the cause of the problem😭 Next I will install Arch Linux to check it out!
From what I've tested now, I realized that it might not be the input problem, as it recognizes the mouse and keyboard before clicking "New Game", after clicking, it remains on the menu screen and the keyboard stops working.And the options work, only the "new game" and "load" that don't work.I tested the keyboard settings and I can change the buttons.
Really liking the game I don't know your plans for that location with the moving platform but i think it would be better to place a obstacle there that requires the gliding mushroom to go across, like a wall or a hole in the ground that you can't jump across
I'm looking forward for a reforge system also having a fun~ way to get the character chubby would be nice... wink wink

damn found out u can pick up the kids by pressing k and also the items that make the balls and boobs bigger get locked in the item box when ever i swap them and then disappear when i re-open the inventory
also you might need to increase the costs of food and increase the bosses hp because if someone goes to the shop first they can repeatedly kill the walking mushrooms and get currency to buy the mushroom bowl which is too low in cost I spent like 1 min and was able to buy 40 of them and they all fully restore health
No weapons is quite hard ( Tried it after reading your comment, got beaten by Remy two times lol. ) though I don't think you need any mushrooms to win. The magical mushroom wand is often more than enough once you pick up the bow.
btw, do you need to go to the shop to farm mushrooms? I think after you get the bow you can go back to the surface and spam attack the mushroom summoning rod from the other side without getting knocked back.
Is it intentional that if you press space and J at the same time occasionally you get a massive difference in distance compared to a regular dodge roll because it's like 2 to 3 times the difference in distance
well its pretty consistent if its a bug then because I can make the game do it pretty often the game thinks I'm jumping but cancels the animation into a Dodge roll at a higher distance in the air and thinks I'm falling thus its making that distance pretty funny I found it a week ago and no one pointed it out
if you really needed to you could make a item that does something similar to it but causes a effect like a debuff that effects a stat or something, or make it a combo but reduce the overall distance of it could change how you fight bosses if you did make something like that more options to play

So, I love this game and am excited to throw money at it when it's done. All the little body modifications are a treat and it's cool that they are represented on the character.
Sad though because the controls have been giving me hell. I can't use the D-pad to move left at all. Character will always crawl. Even when I set the analog deadzones to max in game and in the DS4 tool, the game still reads any slight input, so like it's hard to walk past a character/door without interacting with them. I use a PS4 controller, and the key bindings for the attack, jump, roll buttons are in weird places, and it won't let me remap them.
I guess my other gripe would be that the combat arenas are huge, and your character moves really slowly, so a lot of the fight is just chasing the enemy around the area with the dodge roll while trying not to touch them. Fights weren't particularly hard, just kinda not very fun.
Edit: Couldn't do the arrow event after a boss fight on my controller, so I tried to exit to title to do it again, and I've permanently broken my save file. I can't interact with/attack things and my walk animation is gone. Tried killing myself with poison but I'm still locked.

Sorry, I have tested the XInput and DirectInput controllers working, but have not been able to confirm that the PS controller is working. I'm investigating the cause of this.🤔

i can't get past the menu in linux version, every time i try to start a new game or load it gets stuck on the start screen, the menu animation still works but i can't select anything in the start screen anymore.
i have no idea what is causing this problem, i'm sure it's not my hardware, maybe it's is problems accessing the save file, but it would be a little weird because i can save game settings like screen size and quality.

The stone axe was changed from battle axe around ver 0.025.

i am using the Pop!_OS 21.10, I haven't tested it in any other distro, just this one.
I installed the Pop!_OS 21.10 to check and the game seems to be working fine. Maybe there is a hardware problem that is preventing it from working.🤔??
It seems to have stopped when accessing the save file. There may be a security setting that prohibits access to files in that hierarchy.
i have no idea what is causing this problem, i'm sure it's not my hardware, maybe it's is problems accessing the save file, but it would be a little weird because i can save game settings like screen size and quality.
Perhaps the save file may be corrupted. Unity will stop working as is if the file fails to load.
